Please tell us your background and how you became a key account manager.
I have dedicated myself to the telecommunications sector throughout my professional journey, including my internship. My experience spans the technical and planning departments of network infrastructure. With over seven years of immersion in the telecommunications industry, I have gained a wealth of expertise in the field’s technical and business realms.
To excel as a Key Account Manager, one must comprehensively understand every facet of the job, from its core principles to its intricate details. A successful Key Account Manager should be well-versed in the company's overall structure and be capable of seamlessly orchestrating task allocations, ensuring a smooth workflow. Fortunately, I possess these essential qualities, which have enabled me to assume this role with confidence and proficiency.
What do you enjoy most about being a key account manager, and why did you choose this career path?
One of the most appealing aspects of the Key Account Manager role is the ability to make critical decisions on behalf of the company with initiative. I take great pride in representing my company by accepting full responsibility and authority delegated to me. I chose this career path because I have wanted to work in the sales industry since beginning university. To accomplish this, I put in a lot of time and effort to improve my skills and knowledge, and now I'm at the desired point in my career. I decided because I enjoy combining my technical background and interpersonal skills to engage in sales activities.
Customers are not just a part of my professional obligations to me but also a part of my personal life.
What strategies could you use to maintain
strong relationships with key clients
and ensure their satisfaction?
This cannot be classified as a simple strategy. When you label human relationships as a sales strategy, you are doomed to become ordinary. Instead, I concentrate on maintaining my relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction by constantly striving to understand their needs using the most traditional methods. Customers are not just a part of my professional obligations to me but also a part of my personal life. I treat them with the same consideration and care I expect as a customer. So far, this approach has proven effective and resulted in enormous satisfaction.
What aspects of your life has Qoolize altered?
Qoolize has been the practical preparation I've been working towards for years. My previous experience served as a solid foundation for my current position. Qoolize has significantly impacted my professional and personal life, changing both. I can speak positively about all of these experiences. The company's sense of family, where people prioritize overall benefits without expecting anything in return, and the unwavering support we provide one another, create an incredible feeling of fulfillment. Qoolize exemplifies a strong sense of belonging to one's workplace.

What do you suggest to people who want the same career as you?
Just as there is no single correct path in life, there isn't a single road to be taken. Therefore, I don't want to make anyone believe there is only one way. The best advice I can offer is for individuals to embark on their journey with people they feel comfortable with and trust. Pursue a career that you love wholeheartedly and continuously collaborate with reliable individuals. It is the people within a company that make it great.
What are the essential skills and qualities needed to excel as a key account manager?
It should be remembered that in our line of work, hundreds or thousands of people do the same job as us. If we want to stand out, just like in other industries, we need to do things differently from others. For example, Let’s say you’re walking in a popular tourist destination. You feel thirsty, and multiple vendors around you sell the same brand of beverages at the same price. Which one would you prefer? I believe that being able to make a difference varies from person to person, and those who can successfully create that difference are the ones who leave a lasting impression.
Which city would you choose to live in the world and why?
I prefer Antalya. Antalya is one of the most livable cities in the world. Of course, it can be challenging to tolerate the intense heat during the summer months, but overall, the city’s ambiance, atmosphere, and relaxed lifestyle are perfect for me. It might be the place where I feel most peaceful. It’s a city that keeps stress at bay.
Do you have any hobbies?
It’s difficult for me to mention a specific hobby. I try to fill my life with various sports as much as possible. While I strive not to skip fitness workouts, I occasionally explore new sports disciplines. I greatly enjoy watching films, especially following the works of specific directors.
What is your all-time favorite Netflix show?
Sense8 was the best Netflix series of all time. I wish there had been a continuation.
