Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, and a minimum 2 years of management experience
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of account and relationship management, especially in a growing business within an established industry, and an understanding of this environment’s unique challenges and dynamics
- Experience in contract negotiation and optimization for voice buying, interconnections, and bilateral agreements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Creative and proactive approach to conflict resolution, problem-solving, mentoring, coaching, recognition and performance management
Responsibilities for this role include (but aren’t limited to)
- Lead the acquisition of new customers
- Develop and implement sales plans and account strategies in alignment with business objectives, including cross- and up-selling opportunities and customer retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Train, mentor and provide strategic guidance and support to other account managers
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive solutions to our customers
- Set and achieve ambitious sales goals, and provide accurate forecasts
- Keep updated on industry trends, the competition and market dynamics, and make informed decisions based on your insights
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively address customer concerns
