Melek, thank you for interviewing with us. Can you tell us about your journey into the field of HR? What inspired you to pursue this career path, and how did you start working with Qoolize?


When choosing my university department, I wanted to have a career in human resources. I like to do research in the field of psychology and read books. I knew that the field where I could combine this interest with my competencies in business life was human resources. My journey with Qoolize started with one of my friend's phone calls and interviews about a possible collaboration. The offer immediately sounded attractive and intriguing. In addition, having followed Qoolize's path to success made me want to contribute and be a part of this success.

I believe that constructive approaches should be promoted and refined.

What do you find most rewarding about working in HR?


The most rewarding part is the chance to observe all employees closely, work to provide them with opportunities to use their potential most efficiently and create employee-oriented strategies.

Employees' attitudes toward their work shape the company culture. The company's founders established and guided this approach. I believe that constructive approaches should be promoted and refined. These approaches shape the ethos of each team.

How do you approach fostering a positive company culture within our organization?

Technology is advancing super fast, and now AI is taking over some professionals; what do you think about the future of work? How will it be?


I think AI positively affects many areas of our business. When we consider it as an assistant that facilitates our work, it dramatically supports our research processes and planning. However, I do not think artificial intelligence can influence strategizing and relationship management. However, it can only be developed in a specific field and become competent if it gains experience. I guess we'll have to wait and see :)

At Qoolize, my most significant edge is that employers are as aware of employee expectations as they are of their expectations, which makes me very comfortable. Since the company's growth strategies are aligned with employee satisfaction, it is easier to manage expectations.

How do you balance the needs of the company with the needs of its employees when making decisions?

With the rise of remote work, how has human resources adapted its policies and practices to accommodate this shift?


Our Human Resources department focuses on the importance of performance systems instead of working hours. An agile system has been implemented to increase proactive working, and HR policies have been developed to facilitate the efficiency and effectiveness of our employees' working hours.

As our recruitment motto suggests, "Join us wherever you are." Our recruitment process disregards factors such as gender, nationality, and sexual orientation and focuses on the candidate's ability to satisfy the role's needs and expectations regarding their career and future.

What steps do you take to ensure a fair and unbiased recruitment and selection process within your organization?

What advice would you give someone aspiring to pursue a career in HR?


Before supporting others' career journeys, complete your awareness journey. It would be best to forget your psychological changes and feelings during this journey because you will utilize these experiences to support employees and candidates.

My hobbies are learning new languages, sub-paddling, swimming, working out, and reading.
